Bride Julia wore an understated Jenny Yoo gown and incredible black Jimmy Choo platforms as she tied the knot with her love James in a small modern wedding on the shore of Lake Placid, New York. They shared their vows overlooking the lake, before enjoying cocktails on the terrace and a cosy dinner in the boat room at Lake Placid Lodge. Simple and perfect.
"This intimate wedding was special because it was small from the start," explains New York wedding photographer Mary Dougherty, who captured the couple's special day. "Julia and Jim knew they wanted to celebrate with just those closest to them, in a meaningful place. Getaways to the Adirondacks were always special, and the Lake Placid Lodge was undeniably charming. It offered just the right amount of space for their intimate wedding."
