We are crushing hard on the modern country wedding aesthetic of this chic editorial at Greencrest Manor in Michigan. It has everything we love about the cottagecore trend, like gingham tablecloths, potted plants and a vintage-style cake - brought bang up-to-date with incredible fashion styling and chic black accessories.

Located in an enchanting wood just outside Battle Creek, Greencrest Manor is the perfection location for a modern country wedding. From the moment you drive through the wrought-iron gates and up the tree-lined drive, you're transported into the grounds of a 17th century French manor, which beautifully marries heritage style with intentional modern design. This stylish editorial, captured by Ohio wedding photographer and Fine Art Curation member, Marissa Belle Photography, blends effortlessly with the stately manor house and lush mature gardens.

We are head over heels for the two bridal looks, which channel totally different styles yet both feel perfect for the bride and her surroundings. Wedding designers Kaleb Norman James and Smith + James Events chose a vintage-inspired look for the engagement shoot, with a birdcage veil and chic lace two-piece from Lein Studio, that manages to feel both demure and sexy. In contrast, the wedding day gown from Cinq feels wild, whimsical and romantic, with a pin-tucked lace corset and detachable puff sleeves, and silk tulle skirt with broomstick pleats that billows in the breeze.
