Small intimate weddings are still on rise and it is little wonder, when they can look as effortlessly beautiful as this low key celebration in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York.
Imagine carrying a clutch of wildflowers as you walk a winding path to meet your beau, veil billowing in the breeze and surrounded by the lush spring landscape. New York wedding photographer Mary Dougherty is based in the Adirondacks and frequently works in Vermont, Massachusetts and Maine. Her fourth workshop for film photographers pictured above combined the beauty of the mountains and lakes. The three day event came to life with a welcome dinner on an island, a winding aisle for the mountain wedding ceremony, and a beautiful morning on a mountain top. Attendees enjoyed delicious food and time in nature while learning to shoot film and grow their businesses.
