Wedding inspiration can come from anywhere and for Mary and Jack, it was their favourite holiday destination. Together with East Coast wedding planner Amanda of Beacon & Berkeley, this New York couple created a Nantucket-inspired blue and white wedding at the APHA in Washington, DC. Over to bride Mary to tell us more about it: "Jack knew the Northeast from his time at Amherst College, and he proudly showed me all the most beautiful places that I had missed out on going to UVA and traveling mostly in the Southeast. Our favorite location to visit became Nantucket – we felt so lucky to explore such a beautiful place.
"We’re already both beach people, and the cool, sunny weather, the beautiful architecture and the copious amount of hydrangeas of Nantucket really gave us the starting point for the vibe for our wedding. Neither of us are particularly creative people, so Amanda helped us pair this vibe with D.C. and make our wedding very unique to us!"
