The beautiful California wedding venue Holman Ranch is earthy, bathed in nature, and has a romantic history. We are loving the variety in wedding style by taking notes from photographer Pavel Tereshkovets and stylist Natalie Papova from the warm tones to the foraged florals by Delphinium. An Old World, ranch style wedding is all about natural textures (hello beautiful leather saddle!) to stone surfaces everywhere. Our Monday has been off to such a great start...

From Pavel Tereshkovets: "Here’s a beautiful inspiration shoot that took place at Holman Ranch in California and that I photographed. We had some amazing vendors working with us on creating this elegant and sophisticated story. This photo shoot was based around a 1928 Spanish style hacienda that is so famous in California and has an amazing history. We wanted to bring our viewers back in time to show this couple’s romantic relationship."

From the stylist, Natalie Papova: "I am always inspired by the feeling that I get when I first come to the location, see its colors, smell its scents, feel its atmosphere. These film images give you absolutely the same feeling that I had that first time at Holman Ranch.

There is a story that inspired the mood & aesthetics of this shoot. For years Holman Ranch used to be a getaway location for a lot of Hollywood figures (such as Marlon Brando, Clark Gable, Vincent Price) and we based our story on that.

Hacienda Tale is a love story of a writer, who came to Holman Ranch to get away from the world, & a local girl who he met at the ranch. We are creating an effortless but polished look showing this relationship, simple and sophisticated, pure and authentic. The bride is an untamed beauty, she has a face full of freckles & is barefoot, wearing a vintage dress. She is catching wind in her hair, she is embracing her wildness & femininity. The groom is tough, serious, showing his deep reflective writer’s soul."
