Pacific Cliff Top wedding

Feb 27, 2018 | Weddings

After seeing so much wedding inspiration and wedding details that are put into some weddings, it's such a refreshing change to see this sweet and intimate cliff top wedding of Michelle & Lane from photographer Emily March Photography with their sweet baby Elle in attendance. Exchanging cliff top vows didn't stop this beautiful mama from feeding her baby when the time came...

From Emily March Photography: "Michelle and Lane were married in what can only be described as the most epic of settlings. With sweeping views of the San Francisco skyline, Golden Gate Bridge and Pacific Ocean, the hills of the Marin Headlands are a destination for locals and tourists alike."

"With their closest friends and little baby girl, Elle, Michelle and Lane said “I do” under a classic golden California sun with whales splashing in the ocean below. Michelle’s grandfather was a Santa Barbara court judge and married countless couples in his time. Using his notebook filled with various wedding ceremonies, one of Michelle’s dearest friends performed their ceremony. He wrote the names of all the couples he married in between the lines on each page, and it’s so fun to know that Michelle and Lane are among those couples now.

Other sweet family details included her grandfather’s pocket watch, set to the exact time of their ceremony. Michelle’s wedding band was made from Lane’s grandmother’s ring and her engagement ring is also a family heirloom.

After their ceremony, they celebrated with pink champagne in Dom Perignon glasses and headed downtown for a yummy dinner in the city. When Elle got hungry and mama duty called, Michelle stepped away and made motherhood look even more beautiful as a bride.

From the most epic walk down the aisle to the cute little moments with their daughter and all the details in between, Lane and Michelle’s wedding was an absolute joy to be a part of. And they certainly win for best ceremony view!"
