From Brandi Smyth: "Pura Vida - means Pure Life. But to the people of Costa Rica it has a much stronger and universal meaning. It can mean "thank you", "your welcome" , "hello", "good bye" - its a simple way to say many different things. Its a word with a hug that comes from a place of simplicity and love for others. When traveling to Costa Rica and planning this shoot we wanted to try and encompass that short but meaningful phrase. We mixed the Costa Rican coast with natural & simplistic elements to create what we feel is Pura Vida."
