Today's feature boasts simplicity and serenity. Upon opening this lovely gallery, we first noticed and fell in love with the cool and monochromatic interiors of The Retreat at Cool Spring which lends itself perfectly to a simplistic bridal morning. Upon further investigation, we discovered the prettiest pastel colored blooms by none other than WS favorite, La Fleur du Jour! Mallory Dawn's film photographs feel emotive and soft, especially paired with the unassuming yet beautiful styling by East Made Event Company for this recent Michael and Carina workshop....

From Mallory Dawn Photography: "These beautiful images were taken during the Michael and Carina Workshop at The Retreat at Cool Spring in Bluemont, VA. This stunning venue was built in 1799 and overlooks the Shenandoah River. The house is overflowing with history which served as the perfect backdrop for this styled session. The main theme behind these images is “sentiment.” Sentiment can be described as emotional idealism. These images tell a story of a bride and groom on their wedding day. Starting off with the beginning stages of the getting ready process, the bride prepares to meet her groom and start a life together. The intimate day calls for lots of breathtaking details which all came together so beautifully. Elizabeth of East Made Event Company did such an amazing job designing the styled shoot and finding inspiration for each and every last detail. The florals, by La Fleur du Jour were soft and delicate, accentuating the emotion between the couple. Brides will no doubt be inspired by these images because they are not only beautiful stylistically, but evoke emotion and true feelings."
