Romantic Garden Wedding Inspiration in a Lace Dress
Happy Monday, everyone! We're kicking things off this week with a dose of serenity, courtesy of stylist Kate Phillips Events and photographer Kate Ignatowski. Today's ivory, natural green, and slate blue inspiration feels supremely peaceful. We adore wedding design concepts that can be a bit unique, but we fall back on what we consider 'graceful and timeless design' for real weddings with couples who desire a classic look. The ivory blooms by Photosynthesis Floral Design are the perfect accessory to the bride's amazing long sleeve lace Tara Lauren gown. The Foundry, a lovely wedding venue in Virginia, is the perfect companion to an elegant wedding with it's lush gardens and stately architecture...
From creative director Kate Phillips Events: "This lovely Virginian venue inspired the color pallet of varying neutral hues chosen to compliment the impressive granite facade - beige, copper, a hint of blush, a touch of blue. Our design philosophy revolves around artful design that will invoke each of the five senses - sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch. We wanted that to translate into the images of this shoot - the Old World beauty of The Foundry, the crisp smell of Winter, the sound of the Fine Creek slowly flowing along the rocky banks, the oatmeal colored velvet linens, aged wine, and varying textures captured creating inspiration for timeless, romantic elegance."
