Beautiful Sophie and Phil! They seriously took our breath away with this intimate, dreamlike destination wedding filled with natural, serene details photographed by none other than Taylor & Porter, a longtime WS favorite. Surrounded by their closest family members, the newlyweds professed their vows in private ceremony at this incredibly beautiful Tuscan villa named Borgo Petrognano. Florist Laura Hingston Flowers crafted these neutral blooms which added the perfect amount of 'wedding worthy' whimsy for the elongated reception tables and Sophie's organic bouquet. To top it all off, the new Mr. and Mrs. and their vintage getaway car? Too much perfection...

From Taylor & Porter: "Sophie and Philip invited a handful of close family and friends to join them in the heart of Chanti, Tuscany for their intimate Italian destination wedding at the Borgo Petrognano.

They held their legal ceremony at a hilltop town hall in Certaldo, followed by a more intimate, spiritual ceremony back at the Borgo, a vintage Alfa Romeo, which the couple drove to their legal ceremony and back added elegance and really expressed the couples adventurous spirit.

Sophie and Phil designed their wedding to have a soft and gentle style, working with a palette of soft pinks, blushes and olive, the tones and textures worked perfectly against the Tuscan landscape and architecture.

Laura Hingston worked with seasonal, native flora including olive and foraged wild pomegranate, along with some romantic rose varieties to create a gentle, feminine look to the florals.

The couples love of Italian culture shone through every element of the design, particularly the dining elements, which showcased the finest Tuscan produce, handmade pasta, regional cheeses and wines; and the most amazing traditional Italian wedding cake crafted by the chefs infront of all their guests!"
