Spring wedding weekend in Aspen with coral peonies
It's not often you see snow in peony season but Hallie and Peter got both on their spring wedding day in Colorado! We love it when brides love fashion as much as we do so we can't get enough of bride Hallie's magnificent line-up of five wedding dresses for this glorious snowy wedding weekend in Aspen. Throughout the weekend's festivities, Hallie wore gowns from Carolina Herrera, Lanvin, Monique Lhuillier, Oscar de la Renta, and Naeem Khan, with a different pair of shoes for each dress.
Captured by destination wedding photographer, KT Merry, Hallie and Peter's Aspen wedding weekend started out with an intimate rehearsal dinner at The Little Nell Wine Bar and a festive welcome party at Casa Tua. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the top of Aspen Mountain where an unexpected blizzard in May delighted their guests and covered a spectacular floral installation of Coral Charm peonies by Tulipina.
After a quick outdoor ceremony, the reception turned indoors with a four-course culinary feast atop a gorgeous tablescape curated by Enjoué Studio. After dinner, Moment’s Notice band got the party started and guests danced late into the night at an after party that involved a hand painted shot ski by Half Moon Studio, a custom DJ booth with coordinating pillows and an espresso bar (espresso martinis and carajillos included) for caffeination. Guests departed the after party in the wee hours of the morning aboard a gondola offering piping hot pizza as the snow continued to fall all around them.
