From Brie Thomason Photography: "After over a year of uncertainty and canceled plans, it feels like a breath of fresh air to be hearing of re-openings! One exciting place that has reopened to travelers recently is Maui, Hawaii! Maui is a well known popular destination wedding location, and for good reason! Guests are welcomed to the island with leis and aloha, and then spend their trip sun bathing, snorkeling, hiking, whale watching, and more. The island has a very laid back vibe, which is great for a relaxing destination wedding!
Entertaining guests has never been easier when you choose a destination wedding in Maui. Some of our favorite activities to do are to charter a group snorkel, a whale watching charter, or even a sunset cruise. The sunsets on Maui are breathtaking! In the evenings a sunset luau is a great way to welcome and entertain your guests. If relaxing is more your style, sitting poolside at a local resort is always a great option!
If you are hoping to elope or marry on Maui you’re in luck because one of the most incredible wedding venues around the world can be found on Maui, and that is Haiku Mill. This venue takes your breath away from the moment you step foot on site. The bridal suite is extremely picturesque and has so many opportunities for great getting ready images. The main area is large enough to host your ceremony and reception in the same space, with a great courtyard for cocktail hour. Regardless of the size of your event, the Haiku Mill can be a great option!
The island is still taking Covid precautions seriously, so at this time it is required that you provide a negative Covid test within 72 hours of travel. The test required is a very specific kind, but is easily available at locations like Walgreens, clinics, and many airports. For more information regarding the testing process, it is best to look at this site."
