"Our models are a real couple, Briar and Jon, who recently wed at city hall and are planning a big celebration with friends and family from overseas in a year or two," explains Mary.

"The landscape of Troutbeck is wild and natural - and it allowed us the freedom to create outside of traditional spring elements. Unexpected color pairings, as well as the immense green of the property, offered a new way to embrace this flower abundant season. The color palette centered around soft spring colors, favoring mauve, blue, violet and gold against a lush green backdrop."

"The ceremony was set up on the lawn, with florals seemingly growing naturally from the rock wall. Heart and Soil Flowers created the light and airy designs, including an organic bouquet that was filled with movement and delicate blooms. On the table, a velvet linen added contrast to the architecture of Troutbeck. Purple poppies stole the show over gold rimmed glasses and mauve linen napkins.

"The unexpected pairing of a golden silk Leanne Marshall dress with purple Manolo Blahnik shoes set the tone by our creative bride, who is a jewelry designer. Pairing it with the setting allowed us to have a more cohesive color palette that was elegant without being overly bridal.
