From photographer Hannah Forsberg: "One of the most daunting things about learning film photography is trying to learn it by yourself. With the task of learning a new medium and how it interacts with light and translates color, all whilst learning a new camera and with a sincere desire to develop your style and voice, a new film photographer can easily be discouraged when they begin experimenting with film, especially when their results are far from what they imagined.

I had the honor this year to teach Rebecca of Smith and Wesson Weddings 1:1 about film photography which was a delight. Through 1:1 coaching, it’s such a joy for me to be able to show photographers their ability and help them achieve their own version of success and walking them through how to work with film and giving them tangible steps to grow their business; not only with photography training but also business advice.

Her eager heart and excited demeanor was such a pleasure to be around. Her vision for her brand was ultimately one that was romantic and refined, while modern which designer and planner Rachel of Slauer Events and I strived to achieve through incorporating a beautiful textured Alexandra Grecco gown for our bride to wear, and our groom’s white tux jacket. We also had the privilege of partnering up with Mary from Amy Osaba Designs to create a bouquet with muted copper tones and yellows, perfect for a modern autumn event which paired beautifully with stationery from Isidore and Augustine. Its contrast provided such a beautiful texture to the lusciousness of the gardens.

I had the honor of documenting Kristin and Cody’s love at the Cator Woolford Gardens, one of Atlanta’s most precious and hidden gems. It is most well-known for its stunning, lush greenery and landscaping and staircase that is built into the side of the hill which mimics the the iconic Swan House & Gardens’ grand staircase. This day couldn’t have been possible with the below vendors and I feel so fortunate to have such an incredible team of elite vendors in the Southeast!"
