Yolanda and George’s Garden Wedding with Eucalyptus Gardland

We always find that the more heart and soul infused into a wedding day, the more beautiful the result. Always. Yolanda and George's classic and romantic wedding day had personal touches that set it apart for us - the stationery and calligraphy designed and illustrated by the bride herself (can you say talented?!), the beaded clutch Yolanda carried which belonged to her late Grandmother, their representation of origins and culture... everything.

Kristine Herman Photography captured the day so well with the abundance of beautiful light and gorgeous venue. We loved the refreshingly lovely blue tone to the Coralie Beatrix bridesmaid dresses and especially loved Yolanda's Pronovias gown in all it's tulle glory....

From Kristine Herman Photography: "The bride and groom, Yolanda and George started their story in San Francisco but after moving to the Sacramento area they decided to have their wedding day there. The added touch of a Downtown Sacramento was the perfect backdrop for their reception at the Firehouse, where the greenery and brick added the perfect ambience for the night. The design of the day was classic and clean with whites, greens, and a hint of light blues.

Candles as the wedding favors were perfect as well as the silver plate table numbers and signs. All the stationery and calligraphy was designed and illustrated by the bride and light blue beaded clutch is Yolanda’s late maternal grandmother’s, which added the perfect touch to Yolanda’s outfit.

During their reception they eventually changed into their traditional clothing. Yolanda wore a Vietnamese national dress called ‘ao dai’ and George wore a filipino national shirt called ‘barong’; this particular barong is made from the fibers of pineapple leaves. This was important for them to represent their families culture and where their heritage stems from."
