Italian destination wedding at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo in Lake Como
Sam and Karel knew without doubt that Lake Como was the perfect spot for their Italian intimate destination wedding. After careful consideration, they chose the iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo to blend the bride’s Italian heritage, the couple’s love for incredible cuisine, and their desire for a unique and intimate experience.
Over to luxury wedding planner and Fine Art Curation member, Krissy Campbell Celebrations, to tell us more about it: "Sam and Karel wanted to showcase the elevated, timeless and iconic space while incorporating elements of natural beauty, light and romance in a way that felt authentic to them.
"To bring the details to life, we decided on a muted pastel color palette that highlighted the lavender underlay of the bride’s gown along with their natural draw toward soft warm hues, which tied in well to the venue and its surroundings. We worked with professionals who could create the romantic and elevated space they were looking for, including Italy-based floral designer, Bird and Bumble, BBJ La Tavola and stationer, Siwo Studio.
"Alongside creating a stunning place, we wanted Sam and Karel to cherish the beauty of the moments together, both alone and with their guests. From quiet moments at the hotel’s pier and the vintage boat ride as their family waved from shore; to a beautiful floral nod to the groom’s late mother, delicious curated aperitif and dinner menus, and the best live string music adding to the ambiance throughout the day - there truly was no detail spared."
